One of the downsides of working at a 100% remote company is that you don’t get to take as many coffees as you wish with your colleagues. But, when you meet them, it’s like a party. And so it was for Witivio this weekend. Witivio’s annual offsite at Meursault.
Nicolas and Tanguy brought us to Meursault. A French wine-growing village located on the Route des Grands Crus in the Burgundy vineyards.
10 a.m. Breakfast with amazing views.
11 a.m Annual business review.
This year, we have overachieved our target, around 13% more of our goal.
4 p.m. Raphael and Selene spoke about sales and marketing plans for 2022, and our partners from Microsoft came to present some strategic ideas around Microsoft Teams.
6 p.m. Photo session for Welcome to the Jungle.
For a laugh. The photo where Imane, Michel, and Selene are “working”. Well, it was them comparing which computer had the dirtier screen.
6:30 p.m Sunset apéro, pure french style. Followed by a barbecue.
9 p.m Barbecue and metabots and nappies jokes.
Yes, what you read. Courtesy of Luc.
11 p.m Time’s up. Not for going to sleep, but for playing.
The younger generations didn’t know who’s Monica Bellucci…
Everybody up at 9 a.m: Some had coffee and croissant for breakfast, Selene preferred barbecue leftovers.
At 10 a.m, we had a guided tour around the Domaine Marguerite Carrillon, where we saw how wine is made and tasted some of the wines. Not all of them, apparently that’s not possible.
We finished the day with a goodbye photo and “See you on Monday at the Office (Teams)”.
