Autopilot is a cloud-hosted Microsoft 365 agent with its own identity, memory and workspace in the tenant. It pursues an objective over time, without new prompts. It succeeds Scout, introduced in June 2026.

Our test of Scout (the early desktop version) showed three spaces (chat, automations, co-create), memory, permissions set tool by tool and model choice. These details may change in Autopilot.

Usage-based billing in Copilot Credits. Licensing prerequisites and consumption scenarios specific to Autopilot have not been published yet.

Witivio's three priorities before rollout: clean up SharePoint and Teams permissions, create spending policies and name owners for each agent.
